Synopsis

This symposium will review current therapies available for the various treatment modalities that have emerged over the last several years for the management of vascular anomalies of the head and neck as well their indications and patient selection criteria.

Learning Objectives
  1. Identify the various presentations of vascular anomalies;
  2. Discuss what role surgery plays in the management of these lesions;
  3. Contrast the indications for the techniques of sclerotherapy and embolization; and
  4. Assess alternative management of these lesions.
