Synopsis

Despite the perceived simplicity of orbital fractures, lapses in diagnosis and management can result in poor outcomes with significant impact on patients' quality of life. Therefore, it is important to examine this common injury from the practice-based learning and quality Improvement perspective. This symposium will focus on the current best practices in the management of orbital fractures and common pitfalls.

Learning Objectives
  1. List the outcome indicators in the management of orbital fractures;
  2. Describe the common poor outcomes resulting from the repair of orbital fractures;
