This program will discuss orthognathic surgery in the pediatric patient and include presentations on cleft orthognathic surgery, expanded skeletal surgery, orthognathic surgery complications in the pediatric patient, and orthodontic considerations in the growing patient. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons and an orthodontist will provide information on recent treatments and practices.

1. Identify orthognathic surgery treatment options for the pediatric patient; and
2. Recognize pediatric patients requiring orthognathic surgery and complications, orthodontics for the growing patient, cleft orthognathic and expanded skeletal surgery.
