    Synopsis

    The speakers will present spectrum of oral pathology cases from initial visits through workup, treatment and outcome. Exam techniques, differential diagnosis development, choice of imaging, treatment options, and actual treatment and outcomes will be reviewed for each case.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Explain the clinical appearance of a lesion and how certain aspects of the work-up help to identify the mechanism and the pathophysiologic progress of the disease;
    2. Assess lesions and correlate age, sex, color, texture, symptoms and signs of various disease to arrive at a realistic differential diagnosis; and
    3. Describe the natural course of each oral pathologic condition and how treatment addresses, controls or eliminates it to gain a remission or cure.
