Synopsis
The use of an upper airway stimulator for treatment of OSA has been described in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). The speakers will review patient selection, the use of drug-induced sleep endoscopy and surgical technique for placement of the upper airway stimulator.
Learning Objectives
- Identify patients who would benefit from an upper airway stimulator; and
- Demonstrate the surgical technique for placement of the device.
