    Synopsis

    This course meets annual OSHA bloodborne pathogen training requirements. The speaker will show how to design a “personalized” OSHA safety plans and conduct a-“mock”-OSHA inspection and office safety meeting. In addition, information will be presented on the 2013 OSHA Hazard Communication training requirement.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Explain the basic elements of a bloodborne pathogen program;
    2. Meet OSHA requirements for written safety plans; and
    3. Explain how to prevent exposure incidents, learn how to manage exposure incidents, and identify hazards in the OMS office.
