Synopsis

The course will review relatively uncommon clinical presentations of benign and malignant common pathologic entities that may be overlooked in routine practice. Strategies for avoiding errors in diagnosis, treatment and follow-up surveillance for tumors and potentially malignant disorders will be presented.

Learning Objectives
  1. Recognize variable presentation of malignancies in routine OMS practice; and
  2. Describe the safe surgical management of uncertain pathologic conditions without sacrificing patient safety.
