    Synopsis

Migraine headaches are a recurrent neurological disorder. A subgroup of migraine patients suffers from chronic migraines, defined as migraine frequency greater than 15 episodes in a month. Some chronic migraine sufferers have the comorbidity of myofascial pain and dysfunction, and TMJ. The speaker's retrospective study looks at the effect of reducing MPD symptoms when treating chronic migraine encephalagia without aura.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Incorporate a new treatment modal in to their TMJ/MPD therapy; and
    2. Treat TMJ/MPD more comprehensively.
