    Synopsis

Treatment of the obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patient should be logically sequenced, value-driven and based on evidence available in the medical literature. This session will present a number of cases, and describe the medical and surgical treatment plans utilized, with an emphasis on an evidence-based approach.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Recommend the most appropriate therapy for the OSA patient; and
    2. Communicate the available evidence regarding different OSA treatment options to patients, referring providers, and insurance carriers.
