The speaker will provide indications and contraindications for alloplastic TMJ Total Joint Replacement (TJR), the latest subjective and objective outcomes data and biomaterials information, and how to avoid and manage complications of TMJ TJR.

1. Identify patients who are candidates for alloplastic TMJ TJR;
2. Identify patients for whom alloplastic TMJ TJR would be contraindicated; and
3. Discuss the most common intraoperative and postoperative complications associated with alloplastic TMJ TJR, how to avoid them and, how to manage them if they occur.
