Synopsis

This course is sold out. This session will review in a systematic method, the pre-operative evaluation of the patient that is critical to achieve an esthetic restoration. Based on the pre-treatment evaluation, appropriate steps can be followed to achieve the esthetic result. Emphasis will be in treatment planning with examples shown of appropriate surgical treatment that refine and define the esthetic site. The use of immediate provisionals will be discussed to emphasize guiding soft tissue development.

  1. Identify the critical pre-treatment findings that dictate specific steps needed to achieve an esthetic restoration;
  2. Describe the surgical procedures necessary to achieve the esthetic restorative rehabilitation of the patient;
  3. Discuss the short and long term effects of guiding soft tissue development.
