Synopsis
This course is sold out. This session will discuss the most common complications that are encountered with implant scenarios. Topics to be covered will be cement issues, peri-implantitis, gingival inflammation secondary to soft tissue problems, bone resorption after restoration is placed, and other topics. Solutions to these complications will be presented as well as the procedures that can be performed prior to or during implant placement to avoid the complications.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the pre-operative findings that predict later problems;
- Identify the appropriate procedures to be followed to prevent complications; and
- Identify how to treat the complications discussed in the synopsis.
