Synopsis

This session will be dedicated to the preoperative assessment and surgical procedure options to provide the patient with a functional solution to their failing dentition. The different speakers will show different prosthetic designs, taking into consideration available bone, lip levels, and hygiene efficiency. Surgical methods will be shown to demonstrate how to combine the preoperative planning with efficient surgical care.

Learning Objectives
  1. Describe the treatment planning and procedures necessary to achieve an ideal esthetic result;
  2. Discuss how to transition their patient when teeth must be removed and replaced with long term successful restorations; and
  3. Have an appreciation for multiple restorative methods to achieve an efficient transition from teeth to implant restorations.
