Synopsis

This session will discuss the patient who unfortunately will be losing their teeth and seek a fixed alternative. Speakers will demonstrate evidence base within their presentations to deliver their key message with supporting documentation, with emphasis on practical solutions, including the effect of systemic disease on implant integration.

Learning Objectives
  1. Understand the biological reasons for adverse bone responses in diabetic patients;
  2. Understand a method for full arch provisionalization with patient concerns as highlighted need;
  3. Understand how to transition a patient form teeth to implants and avoidance of removable prostheses; and
  4. Utilize evidence based data for efficient dental implant provisionalization methods.
