Synopsis

Patients with compromised, potential implant sites may present several challenges in implant therapy. Some of the challenges include limited interarch space, ridge thickness and/or sinus pneumatization and/or pathology. Though implants have proven high success rates, physical limitations in proposed implant sites pose an increased risk of implant failure. Conventional management of these areas may require complex surgical treatments such as sinus and/or vertical ridge augmentation in order to provide sufficient bone quantity and bone quality for successful outcomes. This 90-minute presentation will discuss management of these challenging sites utilizing innovative implant designs and manufacturing.

Techniques: Grafting, Esthetic Management and Short Implants
