This session will discuss topics that include, but are not limited to, simultaneous bone augmentation when extracting teeth in the posterior maxilla, combination of soft and hard tissue procedures to augment the esthetic zone, the use of technology to facilitate immediate provisionalization, and the use of appropriate abutments to direct soft tissue healing after implant placement.

1. Apply the evidence concerning augmentation of the hard tissue in an office setting;
2. Examine the indications and methods for crestal approaches for ridge augmentation; and
3. Explain the use of subgingival forms to develop the soft tissue profiles around implants.
