    Synopsis

    This course will demonstrate the surgical technique known as the Anatomical Subunit Cleft Lip Repair as described by Dr. D Fisher. The talk presentation will show both the unilateral and bilateral approach. The lecture material will be presented in a multimedia format including pictures/slides, videos, interactive diagrams and 3D silicone models.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Prepare the surgical marking for a variety of unilateral and bilateral cleft lips;
    2. Describe the surgical approach in a step-by-step fashion for predictable, quality cleft lip repair; and
    3. Recognize the surgical modifications and overall care in achieving optimum results for cleft lip repair.
