No one can plan for every contingency. Sometimes practice employees and/or owners behave badly. Sometimes outside incidents impact the practice in very negative ways. This session presents a number of such incidents and explains the legal ramifications and appropriate response steps for damage control.
- Identify sensitive areas within practice operations and management that are susceptible to behavior potentially damaging to the business;
- Explain the appropriate legal or managerial response to various types of unexpected/critical occurrences; and
- Identify the areas within the practice where proactive risk management and advance planning are available to limit exposure and reduce long-term damage.
