    Synopsis

    This course will review internal and external nasal anatomic relationships, and preoperative patient selection with an emphasis on data collection and treatment planning. Discussion will consider various surgical approaches, including the surgical sequence and precise surgical techniques, as well as post-surgical care and evaluation, including the prompt recognition and management of potential complications.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Describe external and internal nasal anatomic features and isolate various pre-existing deformities;
    2. Describe the rhinoplasty instrumentation used in the various steps of the procedure; and
    3. Identify potential postoperative complications and how to avoid pitfalls.
