This course will present in a case-based format the rationale and treatment progression in the management of temporomandibular joint disorders. The course will also review surgical techniques ranging from arthrocentesis to alloplastic total joint prosthesis and their outcomes.

1. Provide treatment options based on the etiology and stage of TMJ disorder;
2. Recognize the objectives of the various treatment options and how to achieve excellent outcomes; and
3. Discuss improved patient outcomes thru the medical management of the temporomandibular disorder.
