Synopsis

Ridge expansion (RE) has shown clinical success for implant placement in a narrow alveolar ridge. RE is a simple, predictable and less traumatic technique to increase alveolar width for implant placement, especially in mandibular anterior sites. Cases will be presented along with rationale and indications for RE.
