Synopsis

This course will review the principles of large tumor resections of the oral and maxillofacial region, including the utility and proper sequence of imaging, surgery and non-surgical care.

Learning Objectives
  1. Discuss the molecular biology associated with tumor doublings;
  2. Utilize special imaging studies for surgical planning of large tumors of the oral and maxillofacial region; and
  3. Identify the appropriate sequence of surgical and non-surgical therapy in the management of large tumors of the oral and maxillofacial region.
