Synopsis

This course will present the use of traditional cosmetic surgery techniques in reconstruction patients in order to optimize their reconstructive outcomes and leave them not only content, but happy about what they see in the mirror every day.

Learning Objectives
  1. Demonstrate an understanding of reconstructive techniques used in oral and maxillofacial surgery, including their limitations, requiring future revisional procedure;
  2. Review traditional techniques used in cosmetic surgery that have applications in the reconstructed patient; and
  3. Discuss the use of cosmetic surgery techniques to optimize facial reconstructions and improve overall patient outcomes.
