    Synopsis

    This course has a maximum of 150 seats. Courtesy tickets are no longer available for this course.
    Several drugs in addition to bisphosphonates have now been shown to cause osteonecrosis of the jaws (ONJ). Presentation will discuss how each drug causes ONJ, and what modifications related to prevention and treatment are best for each patient.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Demonstrate a deeper knowledge of the new, well-known drugs that cause osteonecrosis of the jaws;
    2. Recognize and perform preventive measures that will benefit their patients; and
    3. Achieve better outcomes in treating patients with osteonecrosis of the jaws.
