    Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) has created numerous dilemmas in patient management and may have a broad health impact for patients undergoing antiresorptive therapy. This case-based presentation will review evidence-based and innovative strategies for risk assessment, prevention and management of MRONJ with related outcomes and complications.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Describe how to navigate the oral health and medical dilemmas associated with patients who undergo antiresorptive therapy;
    2. Review and compare alternative management options for patients with various stages of osteonecrosis, providing high quality outcomes that include improving oral health and quality of life; and
    3. Recognize anatomic changes, risk factors and potential complications that impact outcome when treating MRONJ.
