Open Forum on Changing Paradigms in OMS Practice

This is a non-ticketed session.

This forum will address new healthcare delivery systems and their impact on the OMS practice, as well as presentations on practice models past, present, and future and the impact of an integrated delivery system on scope of practice.

1. Discuss the changing healthcare marketplace as it affects the practice of OMS;
2. Discuss CMS regulatory requirements that may affect hospital anesthesia privileges and the impact of hospitalists on OMS scope of practice; and
3. Develop a plan to maximize the viability of the OMS practice.
