Synopsis

The Pre-conference on Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery will include presentations on clinical advances in head and neck surgery as well as advances in head and neck surgery in Japan and oncologic TMJ reconstruction in Korea. A presentation on preclinical studies of head and neck cancer will be included. In addition, an update on tumor biology and tumor board as well as abstract presentations from fellowship programs will be presented.

Learning Objectives
  1. Identify clinical advances in head and neck surgery;
  2. Review preclinical studies of head and neck cancer relating to perineural invasion and metastasis; and
  3. Compare tumor board case presentations and recognize best practice treatment protocols.
