Synopsis

This program will focus on managing an obstructed airway in the pediatric patient and include presentations on pediatric sleep apnea, lower airway obstruction of the larynx and trachea, mandibular retrognathia and Robin Sequence, midface deficiency and nasal obstruction. These topics will be presented by an oral and maxillofacial surgeons, ENT, and pulmonologist to provide information on current treatments and practices.

Learning Objectives
  1. Identify treatment options for the pediatric patient with an obstructed airway; and
  2. Recognize pediatric patients that are at risk of obstructed airway due to obstruction from the nose through the larynx.
