    Synopsis

    This course will present techniques for reconstructing defects of the maxilla, including the atrophic maxilla. Focus will be on when to apply reconstruction techniques including inlay grafting, onlay grafting, titanium mesh and zygoma implants. A case-based format will be used and published outcomes of these techniques will be presented.

    1. Provide a wide variety of maxillary reconstructive treatment options to patients;
    2. Describe the technical aspects of various maxillary reconstructive techniques to improve patient outcomes and best fit; and
    3. Discuss published outcomes of various maxillary reconstructive techniques.
