Synopsis

This course will review such basic concepts of TMJ arthroscopy as instrumentation, puncture technique, normal arthroscopic anatomy and common pathological findings. Valuable pearls and dangerous pitfalls will be shared with the audience on how to successfully perform this procedure.

Learning Objectives
  1. Discuss the instrumentation and technique for basic TMJ arthroscopy;
  2. Describe the normal TMJ arthroscopic anatomy as well as the most common pathological findings; and
  3. Introduce these basic concepts to their TMJ arthroscopy practice.
