Synopsis
This course will address the use of digital intraoral impressions in relation to implant treatment planning, creation of surgical guides, fabrication of provisional restorations, and in replacing traditional impressions for fabrication of final restorations.
Learning Objectives
- Provide a scientific basis for utilizing intraoral digital scanning as an alternative to traditional dental impressions;
- Apply digital intraoral scanning as an alternative to traditional dental impressions to restore dental implants; and
- Implement digital intraoral scanning in their practice and educate the restorative doctors about the advantages of this technology.
