    Synopsis

    TMJ MRIs are an important diagnostic tool to determine TMJ pathology and treatment options. This presentation will teach OMSs to interpret MRIs and use that information for diagnoses and treatment planning.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Interpret TMJ MRIs for diagnostic and treatment planning purposes;
    2. Correlate MRI interpretations with clinical patient presentation, symptoms, and radiographic imaging to aid in diagnosing TMJ pathologies; and
    3. Correlate MRI interpretations, clinical presentation, symptoms, and radiographic evaluations to determine treatment options using evidence-based treatment protocols to manage specific TMJ pathologies.
