Synopsis
This presentation will review various modern techniques for vertical alveolar ridge augmentation using BMP-2, and elaborate on an algorithm for reconstruction of deficient alveolar ridges. Osteoperiosteal flaps, such as the Iflap, and sandwich osteotomies and the application of a new CAD/CAM technique for design of a titanium cage are described.
