Synopsis
This presentation will discuss the advantages of alloplastic reconstruction in one stage, discuss indications, planning and surgical technique and present a series of patients with long-term follow-up vs autogenous reconstructions.

- Utilize alloplastic reconstruction in the ankylosed patient and discuss the current indications;
- Explain the step-by-step treatment planning and fabrication of a custom prosthesis to treat patients with ankylosis in one-stage surgery; and
