    Synopsis

    This presentation will illustrate the implementation of effective emergency simulations and checklists based on the Parameters of Care, Office Anesthesia Evaluation Manual and online emergency preparedness resources provided by AAOMS.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Organize their emergency preparedness plan to assure that emergencies are prevented when possible and effectively managed when the unforeseen does occur;
    2. Utilize training materials and appropriate office protocols to be prepared to effectively manage an anesthetic or medical emergency; and
    3. Conduct regular familiarity and scenario drills.
