Synopsis

Patients with combination syndrome often have limited treatment options and may require complex and multiple grafting procedures to restore their dentition. The course is designed to illustrate a novel approach to the reconstruction of the edentulous severely resorbed maxillary arch. The surgical and prosthetic technique of immediate loading of these cases will be reviewed.

Learning Objectives
  1. Identify patients with combination syndrome, and available treatment options;
  2. Plan and understand the surgical and prosthetic technique required to reconstruct patients; and
  3. Explain the long-term outcomes and potential complications associated with the technique.
