Synopsis
Patients with combination syndrome often have limited treatment options and may require complex and multiple grafting procedures to restore their dentition. The course is designed to illustrate a novel approach to the reconstruction of the edentulous severely resorbed maxillary arch. The surgical and prosthetic technique of immediate loading of these cases will be reviewed.
Learning Objectives
- Identify patients with combination syndrome, and available treatment options;
- Plan and understand the surgical and prosthetic technique required to reconstruct patients; and
- Explain the long-term outcomes and potential complications associated with the technique.
