Synopsis
This presentation will demonstrate the use of simple algorithms for treatment in cases that appear difficult and how the use of imaging and specific diagnostic data gleaned from examining the patient can lead to realistic solutions. The treatment modalities discussed will include evidence-based information that justifies their use.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the use of allograft and sintered xenograft to restore deficient ridges;
- Utilize orthodontic extrusion to level gingival margin levels for esthetic challenges; and
- Identify the most appropriate use of fixed or fixed/removable prostheses to reconstruct patients with varying degrees of hard and soft tissue deficiencies.
