Simultaneous Reconstruction of Atrophic Mandible and Inferior Alveolar Nerve for Dental Implants

Case presentation of surgical technique: 56 yo AAF presents as referral for evaluation of left atrophic mandible with dysesthesia. She had 2 dental implants in the left mandible with bone graft. Immediately post-op she developed numbness/sharp shooting pains. She underwent a second surgery for debridement of bone graft. Patient still suffers with pain and atrophic mandible. She wants to have bone graft for dental implants and nerve repair at the same time. Using Technique: Using sandwich bone graft technique for atrophic mandible and repairing of an inferior alveolar nerve at the same time.
