This is a non-ticketed session.

Closed case files will be reviewed for “teaching experiences." A panel of practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeons will discuss the management of these cases and how other approaches may have yielded different results.

1. Discuss how to prevent “medical errors” in the administration of office based anesthesia;
2. Identify how to respond to adverse events; and
3. Describe team preparation for crisis situations.
