Synopsis
Advances in the diagnosis and treatment of disease continues to evolve. Areas of interest in the maxillofacial region include head and neck cancer and salivary gland disease. Leading researchers in these fields will provide updates on the study of genes and salivary proteins in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck disease.

- Explain the current state of salivary diagnostics for oral cancer; and
