    Synopsis

    This workshop is a combination of didactic lectures and hands-on simulated exercises utilizing sialoendoscopes and three dimensional models of the salivary gland apparatus. Participants will learn instrumentation usage, basic technique, and removal of sialoliths with micro-instrumentation and stone retrieval baskets.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Identify the instrumentation needed for sialoendoscopy;
    2. Discuss the anatomy and disease process needed for treatment planning a sialoendoscopic procedure; and
    3. Apply the technique utilized in performing sialoendoscopy.
