Synopsis
Less than 10% of OMSs use inhalation anesthetics. Sevoflurane is a safe and effective way to provide anesthesia in OMS offices. This course will describe how to safely and successfully begin using sevoflurane anesthesia in offices.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the use of sevoflurane to provide general anesthesia;
- Describe the risks and benefits of closed airway inhalational anesthetic techniques; and
- Distinguish patient populations that would benefit from inhalational anesthetics.
