Synopsis
This course will review the diagnosis and treatment of dentofacial deformities associated with Class III malocclusions at different stages of development. It will also present a new, efficient and affordable approach using combined surgical-orthodontic treatments such as orthopedic skeletal movements during growth, dentoalveolar corrections, bone-anchored devices and orthognathic surgery in the adult.
Learning Objectives
- Diagnose and treat patients with Class III malocclusion applying available technology; and
- Explain the use and limitations of bone-anchored devices for treatment of Class III malocclusions.
