    2. Discuss evidence-based guidelines for the perioperative care of medical conditions encountered in surgical patients and incorporate new evidence-based medical management guidelines into the management of patients undergoing office-based or hospital surgery; and
    3. Describe new medications being used to manage common medical conditions including coronary vessel disease, hypertension, diabetes, bleeding problems, immune system deficiencies and patients receiving psychotropic medications.
