Maxillofacial surgeons have developed a familiarity with the face and the underlying skeleton. This class will help participants develop a better understanding of what constitutes a normal face and what makes each face unique. Most of all, it will sharpen senses of observation to achieve these goals.

Learning Objectives
  1. Appreciate the form, shape, spacial relationships, and positions of the facial structures;
  2. Demonstrate a basic technique of sculpting a face in clay; and
  3. Explain to other surgeons the art of sculpting in clay.
