Synopsis
Maxillofacial surgeons have developed a familiarity with the face and the underlying skeleton. This class will help participants develop a better understanding of what constitutes a normal face and what makes each face unique. Most of all, it will sharpen senses of observation to achieve these goals.
Learning Objectives
- Appreciate the form, shape, spacial relationships, and positions of the facial structures;
- Demonstrate a basic technique of sculpting a face in clay; and
- Explain to other surgeons the art of sculpting in clay.
