Techniques for cosmetic nasal surgery have included open and closed approaches. Understanding correct nasal anatomic relationships can help the surgeon quickly integrate the rhinoplasty procedure into facial cosmetic surgery practice. A thorough understanding of diagnosis, patient selection and surgical techniques can lead to very predictable surgical success.

1. Demonstrate knowledge of external nasal anatomy;
2. Utilize techniques and pearls of rhinoplasty procedures; and
3. Describe the principles and techniques in performing rhinoplasty.
