Synopsis

This symposium will focus on treatment of the esthetic site. The first portion will be a point/counterpoint dealing with augmentation of the small anterior maxillary horizontal bone defect. The subsequent presentations will show how to use multiple techniques combined to solve severe esthetic situations. The long-term efficacy and technique sensitivity of prosthetic material use in the anterior maxilla will be shown.

  1. Diagnose and present an augmentation plan that is based on clinical data.
  2. Discuss the rationale for choosing specific interceptive strategies for treatment of the malposed facial gingival margin.
  3. Describe the effect of using different restorative materials in the esthetic zone.
