Synopsis
Squamous cell carcinoma of the lip is a common finding, especially in areas of the Sunbelt. This symposium will cover the etiology, epidemiology and management of lesions from the small superficial lesion to the extensive locally invasive lesion. Adjunctive therapies, including management of the neck, sentinel node biopsy, radiotherapy and topical chemotherapeutic agents will be discussed.

- Discuss etiology, diagnosis, management and biologic behavior of lip cancer.
- Discuss surgical techniques for excision and reconstruction of a lip cancer.
- Describe adjunctive therapies used in the management of lip cancer.
