    Synopsis

In the past 6-10 years one of the biggest diagnostic and clinical additions to implant dentistry has been the introduction and use of CT guided implant surgery. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of these digital technologies as well as provide extensive knowledge regarding the necessary software, treatment planning, restorative and surgical protocols, and instrumentation. A hands-on laboratory session, that will allow attendees to compare the 5 major CT Guided systems on the market, side by side and in one location, with manufacturer support and personnel, is also planned.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Discuss CT guided surgery concepts and demonstrate knowledge of these technologies in many clinical situations.
    2. Develop a working knowledge of the major CT Guided implant surgery systems on the market and understand the differences between the technologies and systems.
    3. Develop stronger ties with restorative and prosthodontic members of the dental implant restorative team.
