Synopsis
This clinic will provide practical information concerning diagnosis and management of common skin disorders and tumors of the head and neck. The most appropriate biopsy techniques (shave, punch, excision) based on the type of lesion, including breadth and depth and suspected pathology, and anatomic location will be reviewed. This course is expected to result in improved competence in making the appropriate diagnosis and providing effective treatment and referral or follow-up care, with the overall goal of improving patient outcomes.
